Terms of Service
Nexem is a product of Alchenomy Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. By using Nexem, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of terms
By registering for or using Nexem, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use Nexem.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Alchenomy Private Limited, the company that operates Nexem. Alchenomy Private Limited is incorporated in India with its registered office in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Who can use Nexem
To use Nexem, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid Indian mobile number capable of receiving WhatsApp messages.
- Be either a business owner operating a legitimate automotive business, or a professional working in the Indian automotive industry.
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and throughout your use of the platform.
Nexem reserves the right to refuse registration or suspend accounts that do not meet these requirements.
Business owner responsibilities
As a business owner on Nexem, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your business, including its name, location, and ownership.
- Respond to employee verification requests honestly and in good faith.
- Only raise misconduct disputes when the allegations are truthful and supported by genuine experience.
- Not use the dispute system to retaliate against employees for legitimate grievances or for leaving your employment.
- Use candidate search results only for legitimate hiring purposes and not for harassment, surveillance, or any unlawful purpose.
- Keep your business's contact information and details up to date.
Professional responsibilities
As an automotive professional on Nexem, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your work history, skills, and employment dates.
- Not submit false or misleading employment records, fabricated stints, or inflated experience claims.
- Respond to misconduct disputes honestly and within the designated response window.
- Not create multiple accounts or attempt to circumvent a misconduct flag by re-registering.
- Keep your profile information — including availability status and contact details — current and accurate.
Verified data and disputes
Nexem's reputation and trust systems depend on the accuracy of the data submitted by businesses and professionals. By submitting verification responses or dispute statements, you confirm that the information you provide is true to the best of your knowledge.
Misconduct flags are only applied to a professional's profile after an admin review. Both parties are given the opportunity to present their position through a structured dispute thread before any flag is published.
Nexem acts as a neutral facilitator of the dispute process and does not guarantee any particular outcome. Decisions made by Nexem admins in dispute resolution are final within the platform.
Submitting knowingly false information in a verification or dispute — by either a business or a professional — is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate account suspension.
Prohibited conduct
You must not use Nexem to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information of any kind.
- Impersonate another person, business, or organisation.
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate any other user of the platform.
- Attempt to access another user's account or private data without authorisation.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, extract, or abuse the platform.
- Interfere with the operation or security of Nexem's infrastructure.
- Use Nexem for any purpose that violates applicable Indian law.
Violations of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.
Termination
You may delete your Nexem account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, subject to our data retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
Nexem reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these terms, submitted fraudulent information, or engaged in conduct that is harmful to other users or the integrity of the platform.
Terminated accounts may not be re-registered using the same mobile number or alternative details to circumvent the termination.
Limitation of liability
Nexem and Alchenomy Private Limited provide the platform on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information submitted by users, including verified work histories, reputation scores, or dispute outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alchenomy Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Nexem, including but not limited to damages resulting from hiring decisions made based on platform data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Nexem shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 — whichever is greater.
